Indian-Spiced Hummus with Purple Crudité

Serves 2-3
Ingredients
1 package Red Lentil, Butternut Squash & Coconut Organic Everyday Dal
1 can cannellini or navy beans, drained
1 garlic clove, peeled
1 tbsp water or as needed for thinning
Salt for seasoning
A generous squeeze of lemon juice
Red chili flakes for garnish (optional)
Vegetables:
Assorted fresh vegetables such as radishes, radicchio, carrots, grapes, turnips, tomatoes
Preparation
Step 1
Puree the above ingredients in a blender until smooth and pour into a bowl. Garnish with chili flakes if you like.
Step 2
Wash and cut vegetables into dippable slices.
Step 3
Arrange on a platter with hummus and serve immediately or refrigerate, covered until ready to serve.
