Vegan Tikka Masala Jackfruit Tacos
This jackfruit filling is one of our new favorites. It has a hearty texture and bold, spicy flavor that’s perfectly accented by our Vegan Tikka Masala simmer sauce. Full of flavor and loaded up with colorful veggies, this quick meal is good for the body and soul.
Serves 5 Tacos
Ingredients
1 pouch store-bought jackfruit
1 tbsp olive oil
½ jar Vegan Tikka Masala Simmer Sauce
8 flour tortillas
Pickled onions, for topping
Red cabbage, for topping
Cilantro and lime, for garnish
Chimichurri, for topping
Preparation
Step 1
Cut up jackfruit (if needed) and place in small bowl. To medium-sized skillet, add 1 tbsp olive oil and jackfruit. Saute for 2-3 min.
Step 2
Add in Vegan Tikka Masala simmer sauce and cook jackfruit for additional 3 min. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 3
Warm tortillas in oven at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 mins, or until warm and crispy.
Step 4
Remove and fill with Vegan Tikka Jackfruit, pickled onions, cilantro, lime, and additional Tikka Masala and chimichurri to serve. Enjoy!
